Arlene Sturn, MSc, RSLP, SLP(C) – Skylark Therapy
Registered Speech-Language Pathologist, Company President

Arlene is a speech language pathologist with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults with disabilities. She is proficient at both Standardized and Dynamic Assessment methodology, skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of severe language and cognitive delays, practices theory-based therapy by developing functional goals that fit ability and focus attention and promotes an inter-disciplinary teamwork approach to rehabilitation.
Arlene is certified in Speech-Language Pathology by Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) and is a registrant of the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC). She is also a registrant on the RASP list (Registry of Autism service Providers).

Agnes Gradowski, MSc, RSLP, SLP(C) – Skylark Therapy
Registered Speech-Language Pathologist

Agnes studied Health Sciences in Poland and after immigrating to Canada completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Toronto. She taught health sciences in a community college for a few years, then, in 2008, completed a Master of Health Sciences degree in Speech Language Pathology, also at the University of Toronto. She has a number of years of experience working with both adults with neurogenic disorders (communication and swallowing), and with children with articulation, language and fluency disorders.
Agnes is certified in Speech-Language Pathology by Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) and is a registrant of the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC).

Ivona Vujica, RSLP, SLP(C) – Skylark Therapy Ltd
Registered Speech-Language Pathologist

Ivona enjoys a collaborative and problem solving approach to speech-language therapy. She believes that expertise comes from life-long learning and experience. While still relatively new to the profession, Ivona is an avid learner and is currently exploring the use of Apps in therapy as well as keeping up to date with Best Practices in speech-language pathology. She has experience with preschool and school aged children with apraxia of speech, language and speech delays, fluency as well as children with developmental delays such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and Down Syndrome.

Mimi Ilarionova, MSc, RSLP, SLP(C) – Independent Contractor
Registered Speech-Language Pathologist

Mimi is a speech language pathologist, with over 15 years of experience, specializing in pediatric speech therapy. Mimi has been part of the Skylark Therapy team for 8 years and is specialized in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Mimi is certified in Speech-Language Pathology by Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC)) and is a registrant of the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC). She is also a registrant on the RASP list (Registry of Autism service Providers).

Hannah Melnychuk, BSc, OT – Achievability Therapy Services
Occupational Therapist

Hannah is an occupational therapist, with over 12 years of experience, specializing in pediatric occupational therapy and sensory integration. Hannah received her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at McGill University. Hannah has worked in various school districts, as a consultant occupational therapist for OTWorks! and has been part of the Skylark Therapy Team for 5 years.
Hannah is registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC) and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT). She is also a registrant on the RASP list (Registry of Autism service Providers).

Julie Brown, BSc, OT – Independent Contractor
Occupational Therapist

Originally from Australia, Julie has worked with children as an occupational therapist for over 20 years in several countries, and now calls Canada home. Along the way, she has had formal training in Neurodevelopmental Therapy (NDT) and Sensory Integration (SI). She enjoys the privilege of working with children with all types of physical, sensory and learning challenges. In addition to working at Skylark for the past 2 years, Julie also works as a school district OT part-time.
Julie is a member of the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. She is also a registrant on the RASP list (Registry of Autism Service Providers).

Nam Kyo Kim, MT-BC – Independent Contractor
Music Therapist

With respect, empathy and faith, Nam motivates clients to unlock their potential for growth. Nam has clinical experience with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Cognitive Delays and Dementia. She works in a collaborative manner with other professionals such as Occupational and Speech-Language Therapists to maximize her clients' functional outcomes.
Nam uses her clinical skills to adapt or extend activities which provide motivation for clients to actively participate and make therapy sessions more dynamic. She has an open-minded attitude towards cultural diversity with a broad understanding of different cultures. She finds that every day there are important lessons to learn about the many ways that music influences people. As a Music Therapist, Nam believes not only in the power of music and its ability to facilitate interaction but also in the power of music to support positive growth throughout a person's lifespan.
